Painter
I refer to my paintings as found since many of them emerge from memory,
fantasy, or an internal feeling of a place, scene or thing. My style is
difficult to categorize, I prefer to experiment and play with various
techniques, colors, and media in order to make a painting. I tend to keep
my work loose and flowing in order to invite viewers to see through their
own creative imagination - so that the painting will live for them. I
believe telling the whole story just to demonstrate skill leaves the viewer
a viewer only, and not a participant in the work.
